Young people in Narooma now have improved access to mental health services with the opening of a dedicated headspace outpost.

Operated by Relationships Australia Canberra and Region, the Narooma outpost is an extension of the headspace Batemans Bay Centre.

The new headspace location is part of the Albanese Government’s $320 million initiative to expand and enhance mental health services across the country.

The Narooma outpost is designed to provide crucial mental health support to local youth, ensuring they have access to care when they need it most.

Located at 2/183 Princes Highway, opposite Narooma Plaza, the outpost operates on Mondays and Wednesdays.

It offers a range of services, including mental health counselling, support for health, work, and study issues, as well as assistance with alcohol and drug concerns.

For appointments or general inquiries, young people and their families can contact headspace Narooma at 1800 343 999 or headspace Batemans Bay at 1800 781 383.

This service is funded through COORDINARE – South Eastern NSW PHN as part of the Australian Government’s PHN program.
