The Albanese Labor Government is delivering a further $41 million in Energy Efficiency Grants (EEG) to support small and medium businesses across Australia, including in Eden-Monaro, save on energy bills and lower emissions.
Round Two of the EEG will provide between $10,000 and $25,000 in funding to businesses to support upgrades to more efficient equipment – including replacing air conditioners with high efficiency units or gas heating boilers with heat pumps.
The $41.2 million investment from the $62 million program will help businesses use less energy and improve competitiveness, while reducing their carbon footprint.
Applications for the grants will open in Eden-Monaro on Monday 26 February 2024.
