The Albanese Government is committed to unlocking local job opportunities, boosting the liveability of regional communities, and stimulating local economies across Australia.

As part of this, local governments and not-for-profit organisations in Eden-Monaro will be able to apply for a share of $393 million, under Round 2 of the $600 million Growing Regions Program.

The program provides access to funding for projects such a libraries, parks, multi-purpose community centres, and sport and cultural facilities – with grants from $500,000 to $15 million.

Eligible projects will boost community cohesion, and address critical gaps in community infrastructure.

Updated grant guidelines have now been released, ahead of applications opening on 5 September 2024.

Round 2 will have a single-stage application process, unlike Round 1 which had two-stages.
