A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will provide $500,000 towards key infrastructure upgrades at PCYC Goulburn.

This election commitment will deliver outdoor sporting courts to cater for a range of recreational and competitive activities, including pickleball, basketball, netball and outdoor fitness classes.

The project will also include redeveloping PCYC Goulburn’s bathrooms to improve disability access.

PCYC Goulburn is a charity empowering young people to survive and thrive, in partnership with the Police and the community.

PCYC Goulburn delivers youth programs that boost the community, and currently has more than one thousand members, of which the majority are juniors.

This project will expand PCYC Goulburn’s offering, allowing it to continue to meet the diverse interests and needs of the local community.

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.

Quotes attributable to Member for Eden-Monaro, Kristy McBain:

“Improving the disability access of the venue is also critically important – so that everyone can participate fully in a safe and supported way.

“PCYC Goulburn does such fantastic work in shaping the lives of young people. I’m proud to be backing them with this commitment.”
